Loaded a new video editing software last night. Shot some quick video of the Triumph workbench with the D90 to test things out. No titles, logos or sound, but a successful little test.
Nice. I like the gitty post-production. What software is it? You could make some good soft-lights with a few CF bulbs and a cheap umbrella. I recall seeing super cheap umbrellas and stands at Glazer's. That looks great!
I used Sony Vegas Studio HD. Great app so far. I need to spend a little more time with it to get the finer points.
That gritty post-production is me manually focusing the D90 with one hand while trying to keep it still. The ISO was up at 800 I think. That's where the grain came from. No effects other than cross-fade between clips.
I'll play with the application once I have a little more time. Then I'll see what it can really do.
